On Sunday, Oct. 1, I had the absolute best time sharing my books at the Maplewood/South Orange Children’s Book Festival in Maplewood, NJ! The place was HOPPING with so many kids, parents, teachers, editors, and of course, other amazing children’s book authors! It was a great day all around, but my favorite part was when not one, not two, but THREE kids who go to one of the local schools ran up to my table and said: “You came to my school!” (I’d done an author visit at Tuscan Elementary in Maplewood last spring!). I suppose you can say I’m ALMOST famous?!
