I had a WONDERful time at Books of Wonder NYC this weekend, reading I WILL ALWAYS BE… to some WONDERfully attentive little readers!  It is always such a treat to be able to share my books with kids. Thanks to all who came out!

I just got back from The American Library Association Annual Conference in Philadelphia and it was AMAZING!

WOW, what a whirlwind! I had 3 book signings, 3 publisher dinners, and TONS of amazing conversations (and hugs) with fellow authors, editors and librarians!

I also got to see (for the very first time!) a copy of my upcoming picture book FINDING FORGIVENESS on display at the Macmillan booth! And also, a copy of my upcoming board book DINOSAUR SURPRISE at the Highlights Press booth!

Oh, and I had some incredible fangirl moments as well: Ben Clanton! Kwame Alexander! Nikki Grimes! Vashti Harrison! Alan Gratz! Mac Barnett! Neal Porter! There were Kidlit icons roaming EVERYWHERE!
